Scenework classes run about +/- 2-3 hours.  Attendance at the start of class is required – if you have to leave early, always email us ahead of time.

After everyone has watched each other work live, Jamie will then go through playback of each scene. Through this process, you will learn what worked and what didn't, as well as what producers would be looking for in a real world scenario. Please stay the entire length of class!

Sides Note: Prepared scenes. If selected, you will be assigned sides to prepare for the first day of the intensive. Sides will be sent out 48 hours in advance.

Format Note: This is an on-camera class. Everyone works. No more than 10 students. This intensive is 12 hours long, divided into two 6 hour classes, one week apart.

Cancellation Policy: Students who cancel with more than 72 hours notice will receive a full refund. Students who cancel within 72 hours of the first class will be charged a late cancellation fee equal to 50% of the cost of the intensive. Students are expected to attend BOTH days of the intensive.

The Advanced Self-Tape Intensive has a maximum capacity of 10 students. Michael will inform those who have been selected on a rolling basis, until the class has been filled.

· Your materials will be reviewed and you will be notified if you have been selected to take the intensive.

All payments are processed through “The Work Place, Inc” not ACE Studios.

The format/sides for each week will be as follows:

• Week 1: Josh will assign sides in advance and actors will be paired up. These will likely go out the morning of class. We will begin with a Q&A and general thoughts. After that, we will get into the scenes, which will be a mix of comedy and drama. Each group will work the scene once and get notes to prepare with for week 2
• Week 2: Callback/chem-read with the material from Week 1. Ideally, actors will be off book and prepared with the adjustments. For this second week, Josh will dig a little deeper into the material.
